

A concert of songs from Carl Sandburg's landmark 1927 folksong collection, The American Songbag. This is the kickoff event for the annual Sandburg Days Festival, honoring the great legacy of Carl Sandburg.

presentation will include recorded excerpts and examples performed
live. Part of the University of Chicago Folk Festival.
